The ROTARY CLUB OF CHICAGO LAKEVIEW is the newest club in District 6450, chartered September 1, 2005.

Serving the urban neighborhood of Lakeview, the club members are a mix of local business and professionals who seek to support and participate in various community projects.  Recent projects include:

1.      A drive to collect winter coats for the needy.

2.      Helping to paint a stage at the Children’s Advantage Network.

3.      Distributing Dictionaries at a local grade school.

4.      Developing an EarlyAct program at the Nettlehorst School.

5.      Involvement in Operation LIMBS to aid victims of land mines.

6.      Developing a Heifer Project for a third world country.
